Almost two years ago, just before the world went into lockdown, my family and I went on a trip to Rajasthan, India. (Read more about our trip over here). While there, we visited factories and creative studios and one of my favorite stops was at a new natural dye studio. There was a little garden in the back, a little little lab, and a group of four women experimenting with flowers, plants, and seeds to create the most beautiful color samples.
It has been a pleasure working with them to develop our latest collection for our newest brand, like a lion. These duvets and sheets were all dyed with flowers from their gardens and the colors give me all the vibes. I also love the way they combine plants and colors - two of my favorite things!
Because fabric dye can be so harmful to the environment, we're excited and proud to have started the design process with natural dyes and hope we can continue to offer products like this that take a little step on Mother Earth.
