Bradley Cooper stars in Steven Spielberg's Bullitt

he is Bradley Cooper Steve McQueen of our generation? I wouldn't necessarily make that connection, but it looks like Cooper will be the one to fill in the shoes (and iconic shoulder holster) for McQueen in a new movie about Frank. bulit, the title character in the 1968 cop thriller that remains one of McQueen's best-known roles. The film is directed by none other than Steven Spielberg.

A word that Spielberg was interested in creating himself bulit - Not necessarily a remake of the original, but a new movie with the same character - It first appeared online in February. At the time, no actor was mentioned in connection with the project, but now Cooper has reportedly signed on (per Limit) to take over the role from McQueen. first man Screenplay Josh Singer wrote the screenplay.

According to Deadline's report, Spielberg and Cooper were "talking about the character and what it would be like to go back in the story to a pandemic when everyone else was stuck in quarantine with nothing but time." This will be the first collaboration between Cooper and Spielberg, though Spielberg almost directed American sniper Before Clint Eastwood Engagement.

This is another Spielberg movie debut: his first real-life cop movie. He's made a lot of thrillers, and you can technically count on him Minority Report as a police movie, but this is really more of a science fiction movie than a straight cops and robbers drama. In recent years, Spielberg seems to have begun defining previously unheard of genres of musicals (West Side Story) to animation (The Adventures of Tintin), those notes (Fablemans). A great Spielberg cop movie with wild chase sequences like the original bulit Sounds pretty good to me, before you add Cooper into the mix as a leader.
