Netflix schedule December 19-25: New TV and movies

Much anticipated Take out the knives The sequel is part of Netflix's December 19-25 schedule.

On Friday, December 23rd, Netflix will add Glass Onion: Takes the mystery out of the cutlery for its content. The film, which was a limited theatrical release, was once again written and directed Take out the knives Director Rian Johnson. The sequel follows Daniel Craig's Detective Benoit Blanc as he travels to Greece to remove layers of mystery involving a new cast of colorful suspects.

Join Craig Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy), Edward Norton (fight club), Janelle Monáe (Hidden characters), Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision), Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton), Kate Hudson (always famous), Madeline Klein (offshore banks), Jessica Henwick (Love and monsters), and Ethan Hawke (evil).

Production on the sequel has ended in September 2021. Johnson is producing the film with Ram Bergman via the T-Street Productions banner.

In 2021, Netflix won the rights to both of Johnson's companies Take out the knives sequels, which reportedly cost the streamer more than $400 million. The first film grossed over $311 million at the worldwide box office and also garnered multiple nominations and awards, including an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay.
