The highly regarded horror film is part of Prime Video's December 12-18 schedule.
On Tuesday, December 13, the streaming service will add black phone for its available content. The film stars Oscar-nominated Ethan Hawke alongside young up-and-coming actors Mason Thames and Madeline McGraw. They are joined by James Ranson, Jeremy Davis, Brady Hebner, Jacob Moran and Jordan Isaiah White. Derrickson and Cargill reunite with Ethan Hawke and James Ranson, who worked together in 2012 evil.
“The film tells the story of Vinnie Shaw, a shy but intelligent 13-year-old boy, who is kidnapped by a sadistic killer and trapped in a soundproofed basement,” reads the official synopsis. “When a disconnected phone on the wall starts ringing, Vinnie discovers he can hear the voices of the killer's previous victims. They are determined to make sure what happened to them doesn't happen to Vinnie.”
