The West Coast singer alerted fans to his hospitalization by posting a picture of him lying on a hospital bed with medical wires attached to his bare chest.
While the enigmatic caption — open hands and fingers cross emoji — left followers to speculate as to what happened, Ty Dolla later took to his Instagram Stories to explain that he passed out while skiing and has since been safely released from the hospital.

The 40-year-old singer also thanked professional skater Dashawn Jordan, who was supposedly with him at the time of the accident, for taking him to the emergency room, as well as his teenage daughter for being by his side the whole time.
