WandaVision and Peacemaker make the top 100 songs list

Rolling Stone They released their list of the 100 Greatest TV Songs of All Time. While some of the anticipated classics rank highly, it rightfully included some major titles from the past few years. In fact, ten shows make up for as many entries as possible on the list.

Starting the list at #100 is WandaVisionpraising her bold move to change the theme song for each episode. WandaVision is one of three shows from 2020, and joins two that debut in 2022, Apple TV+ Pachinko (#83), HBO Max peace maker (#65). Other shows that debuted in the last decade are Netflix Weird things (#88), HBO's second season leftovers (#84), Netflix's Orange is the new black (#47), Netflix Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (#26), HBO's Succession (#25), Adult Swim Lots of cooks (#10) and The CW's Crazy ex-girlfriend (#4). (Note that this article intentionally ignores channel transitions and animations, so it shows like Sesame Street And the The X-Files not included.)

In compiling the list, Rolling Stone “Two main factors are considered: 1) How great is the song? 2) How prepared are you for the next overture, in terms of mood and/or explanation of the intro?”

Earlier this year, Rolling Stone released its list of The 100 Greatest TV Shows of All Timeto stir up discussion by turning down offers from "canceled" stars such as The Cosby ShowAnd the Roseanne And the Louie.
