In an interview with Vlad TVJock was asked why he thought it was possible for Kanye West to make statements that negatively affected the black community, such as his announcement of The death of George Floyd due to a drug overdose.
The rapper-turned-media person said he believed that while processing some of the information he was told outside of the community, Yi not only confused his core fan base, but himself as well.
"It turned into a complete stage nightmare," said Young Guk. "I feel like sometimes Kanye does certain things to certain ears. Kanye has done some things and seen some things and been a part of some things that we don't know either, we don't realize. And while he's doing all of that, he's confused himself."
Jock continued, "Lines are skipped. You know when electrical wires are crossed, what does that shit do? It's a short out of the system. He just shorted his system."

Young Jok went on to say that he felt there might have been some validity to some of what Kanye West said - specifically about the level of impact. Jewish owners You may have more than the media - you haven't thought about how to adequately express his opinion.
"I'm not saying anything bad about it," said Jock. "Damn it, if more Jews own the media, that's the damn thing. But in saying that, you must realize that they control it. So if you oppose it, what do you think will happen? They will spread your word freely in the streets? They will promote you against them?" It boils down to understanding: You must pick your battles, and choose your battles wisely.”

What he feels might be more positive, though, is for West to frame these discussions in an academic setting and to seek the support of experts, perhaps in the Jewish community, to promote better dialogue.
"Maybe he should have developed a curriculum to talk about it from this point of view," Yong-guk explained. And have some people come and go this way. As opposed to just having him in his heart and shouting it out on a podcast. I'm not saying that's all he's done, because he's done more. But I'm just saying, as far as this guy's strategy goes, he didn't prepare properly.
“Before you undertake certain tasks, you must plan your work first,” Yong-guk concluded. "Then your plan works. We don't. We get on the platforms and we just say what we want to say in the moment because it's in our hearts. But when you say it, when you pull the verbal trigger, what's the plan boy? What's the strategy?"
