On Thursday (January 5), the RIAA revealed its picks for the #RIAAClassOf 2022 list. The list celebrates the 39 new artists who received their first Gold or Platinum certification in 2022 on a recording released in the past two years.
GloRilla was included in the list after being awarded a gold plate for her single Tomorrow 2 with Cardi B. Armani White was also added for his song Billie Eilish who was awarded a gold plate.
On the platinum front, singer-songwriter Mooney Long joins the list thanks to her single "Hrs & Hrs," which has converted to more than 1 million units. In addition, SleazyWorld has earned status for their record "Sleazy Flow", which has more than one million hits.

Moneylong's "Hrs & Hrs" jumped from no. 7 to no. 1 on the Emerging Artists chart and went from number one. 83 to no. 34 on the Hot 100. The song also landed in the top 5 of the Hot R&B Songs and top 10 of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
