Famous composer Hans Zimmer is best known for his collaborations with the likes of Ridley Scott, Christopher Nolan, W Oscar-winning scores for the king lion And the Dune— but he's now moved to a much smaller screen, lending music to MrBeast's YouTube channel. The video in question, “I Survived 50 Hours in Antarctica,” was posted on Christmas Eve.
The partnership between Hans Zimmer and MrBeast is really unlikely, but since then Both happened in Antarctica at that time- A continent with only a few thousand people at any given time - they were bound to run into each other! As MrBeast says it, “The moment I heard Hans was there too, I knew I had to work with him on this no matter what it took. No one else would ever understand what life was like in such a crazy place! We had to get this done super fast, and when we got in touch With him, he was just as excited.”
Hans Zimmer was just as excited as MrBeast, saying, “When MrBeast gives you a challenge, you can bet things are going to get crazy…” Record my video in Antarctica in a few days, please, Hans? challenge accepted !! “...we had a lot of fun, and we hope you do.” First, can you even imagine Hans Zimmer using an exclamation like that? And second, the composer would have some major credibility (other than being One of the most famous film writers of all time), as MrBeast's YouTube channel has the most subscribers of any individual, with 123 million subscribers. One can only imagine what Zimmer would do with other popular MrBeast videos like "I Bought Everything in a Store" and "Going Through the Same Drive 1000 Times."
In addition to detailing - and plenty of eventful stunts - MrBeast is also known for his philanthropic work. The YouTuber has donated millions to charity, helped plant more than 20 million trees, and opened a food pantry that has served more than three million meals.
For the MrBeast video, Hans Zimmer collaborated with other musicians on an "Antarctica or Bust track". They all get quick shout-outs at the end, which you can view at the bottom of the article.
