Jon Cryer will not be returning as Lex Luthor, a role that should be recast


Two and a half men Vet John Cryer took her in Twitter to confirm that he will not be returning as Lex Luthor on The CW's Superman and Lois a series. He also revealed that the network has already notified him that the DC villain is set to be recast as Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch's series is not set in the Arrowverse universe. However, it is still unclear whether or not the iconic character will appear in the next season.

Cryer first appeared as Lex Luthor in super girlin which he played the role for 20 episodes from 2019 to 2021. Aside from appearing in Melissa Benoist's series, he's also become a part of The CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths Cross, which allowed him to star in an episode of BatwomanAnd the SparkleAnd the ArrowAnd the Legends of tomorrow.

Superman and Lois It stars Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/Superman, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, and Alexander Garvin as Jordan Kent. After the shock exit of Jordan Elsas, Australian actor Michael Bishop will now play Jonathan Kent (yarn) starting from the third season.

The series also stars Dylan Walsh as General Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang Cushing, Eric Valdez as Kyle Cushing, Indy Navarrete as Sarah Cushing, and Wally Parks as John Henry Irons.
