Listen to Peter Gabriel's new song "Panopticom"


Peter Gabriel Panopticom released the first single from his upcoming album, Wow.

Gabriel wrote and produced the song himself, with multiple musicians providing guitar, bass, drums, and backing vocals. Notably, the track includes electronic elements contributed by her Brian Eno.

Structurally, "Panopticom" builds slowly, with ominous synth parts driving much of the song's early movement. Drums sound in the chorus, while Gabriel sings in his signature baritone.

“The first song is based on an idea I’ve been working on to start creating an infinitely scalable data universe: The Panopticon,” Gabriel explained in a press release. "We're starting to connect a group of like-minded people who might be able to bring this to life, to allow the world to see itself better and understand more of what's really going on."
