Spotify Launch a new feature where you can send music to your future self with "Playlist in a bottle. "
Evoking the familiar concept of sealing a message in a bottle and tossing it into the ocean, Spotify's Playlist in a Bottle takes your listening tastes and creates a musical time capsule to be locked away until 2024. For now, just answer a few short questions!

"We know you have some songs that really sum up your mood," Spotify explains in a press release. To celebrate the New Year, we're launching a timely user experience to help you capture the moment [when] January 2024 swings by. [The] An interactive in-app experience that captures your musical self now and then lets you revisit your 2023 musical self one year later. "
Take your answers about your favorite songs and keep them in a virtual time capsule of your choice - do you want the bottle or the teddy bear? - Playlist in a Bottle based on the information on your personal entries to make the playlist you will make in a year.
The new feature appears to take the custom playlists created by the app on ubiquitous music streaming service like On Repeat and Time Capsule and give them new stakes. (Spotify just wrapped 2022 wrapped. Don't forget to show yours Spotify pie chart.)

How to make your own Spotify playlist in a bottle
- Make sure that the Spotify mobile app is updated to the latest version.
- click Spotify.com/playlistinabottle from your mobile device.
- Decide on the time capsule of your choice - you can choose from a bottle, pocket gun, gumball machine, lunch box or teddy bear.
- Answer a series of prompts inspired by songs. For example:
"Song You'll Kiss Someone This Year"
A song that reminds you of your favorite person.
"A song you need to hear live in 2023" - Digitally seal and send the Musical Time Capsule!
- Share a custom card on your social channels with the hashtag #PlaylistInABottle.
- Come January 2024, if you create a Playlist in a Bottle, you'll receive a time capsule dedicated to reminding you of what you were listening to one year ago.
