Dr. Barbara Storm's sexy, fresh, no-makeup look
Photo provided by Nick Hadow
On a balmy late summer afternoon in Southampton, Dr. Barbara Storm looked poised and elegant in a strapless Oscar de la Renta mini dress (right). Her bare arms and shoulders were soft and glowing in the glow of the sun as she mingled with friends, family, and a few celebrity clients at a party for her skincare line. The 50-year-old plastic surgeon and mother of two, CEO Dr. Barbara Sturm Cosmetics Molecularists is turning heads alike for its skin-whispering reputation (her in-house hemotherapy and high-tech facials are known for transforming her; Katie Holmes, Owing Chul, and Kate Hudson, who hosted her party at the gorgeous wellness hotel and spa Cho Sugi Pan Houseall of whom are Agents) and because her fresh cut, sleek style, and sculpted skin are instantly eye-catching.
He says, "I don't wear makeup much." Sturm. "I learned from my mom that healthy, hydrated skin doesn't take much." Whether she's looking sexy for a party or dressed up in buttons and a pro at seeing patients, her secrets are amazing high-tech skin care, subtle makeup, and a hairstyling trick that brings punk rock flourishes.

How Her Luminous Skin Rules The Day (And The Night)
Twice a week while in the shower, i exfoliate my face and body to remove dead cells so my skin looks brighter and can really take up the treatments i put on afterwards.
Immediately after showering, when my skin is still damp, I apply toner, then hyaluronic acid And the Niacinamide Serum - We craft hyaluronic acid with purslane to have a real calming effect, and niacinamide gives skin a boost against environmental aggressors like pollution.

I sealed it all off with a face cream. I also try to do a quick workout in the morning to wake up my skin (and brain), and I always eat breakfast for energy and to keep my blood sugar levels up—I'm sure those two things have an effect on how I look.
She gets makeup tips from her daughters
My 26-year-old daughter, Charlie, does her makeup beautifully and always looks very chic and elegant, so when I do, I take advice from her. (Bieber, 8, on the other hand, seizes any opportunity to put makeup on me. She loves to be expressive and wear gold eye shadow—she has a colorful personality.) For a night out, I love Jillian Dempsey's peach lid color—it's So easy, I just dab the pigment in with my fingers—and her kohl liner sticks out.
My balm is amazing and deposits this super glow, and I keep this hyaluronic face spray in my purse to refresh my skin overnight.
More ideas for evening looks
One trick I use when I'm wearing a sleeveless dress is applying this hydrating aloe and chamomile face mask to my arms. I let it sit for 10 minutes and smoothed it out without using water; Leaves that lustrous radiance.
Short haircuts forever
I keep my hair short, white blonde, and rock a little punk. I don't spend a lot of time on it—I use a scalp and hair serum to help smooth frizz and split ends and support my scalp microbiome, and it doubles as a styling product when I want a flat-back look. When I feel like doing a little something extra, I blow-dry my hair.
More great skin tips
My job entails doing press interviews, recording content for social channels, implementing Zooms and Instagram Lives - I love what I do and interact with patients and clients to help them achieve healthy skin. For those types of days, I use Glow Drops in place of makeup and dab on eye cream to take care of dark circles. Sometimes I take a few minutes to do a gentle lymphatic drainage, which is incredible for waking up the skin and has an irritating effect. It's an essential part of facials, and it's easy and feels good when you do it at home.
