The world press tour for the upcoming Disney movie "Strange World," which premieres on November 11. 23 years is in full swing, and he's already achieved some pretty memorable fashion and beauty moments.

Union opted for a floor-length black and white sequin gown Elie SaabFall 2008 collection for the occasion.

While the dress is by design Thomas ChristosIt would have made quite a visual impact on its own, Union really chose it on the beauty front, too: She wore her hair neatly scrunched around her face, then piled atop her head in a "charmingly sculpted flower braid," as the look was dubbed before. "We just wanted to give off a high; I think hair crowns were the basis for that," Bullion told the costume designer. "I worked with wire and freely braided the bodice because I wanted to create something that had an element of simplicity. We kept Gabrielle's hair sleek in the front and went for a braided crown."

Union is no stranger to experimenting with high-impact style and beauty choices, and she's especially intentional when it comes to her hair. She has developed her own hair care brand, Flawless by Gabrielle Unionhaving endured years of struggles in and out of her place regarding her poetry, and considers poetry a medium for artist and self-expression.
