Fight Forever Trailer Previews Hardcore Matches, Lacks CM Punk


Sony has released another trailer for the highly anticipated All Elite Wrestling video game, AEW: Fight Foreverwhich was made by developer Yuke's.

The trailer offers more gameplay than the previous looks of the game. The trailer also includes a better look at some of the many AEW superstars who will be appearing in the game, including Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, MJF, Thunder Rosa, Sting, and many more. Perhaps most notable, however, is the complete lack of CM Punk in any of the game's new promotional materials. This comes with Punk's future with the company up in the air after a backstage fight Punk had earlier this year.

The trailer also teased the extreme side of the game and offered a look at what matches featuring weapons might look like, showing off things like a barbed wire bat, a fire extinguisher, and thumbtacks.

It will feature online co-op, team matches, a "deep career" mode, wrestler customization, daily and weekly challenges, over 40 weapons, "AEW Signature Arenas" and modes such as Casino Battle Royale, Falls Count Anywhere, Unsanctioned Lights Out and Wire Blast sticking.

No official release date has been set for Fight forever, but fans can expect it to be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch, and PC
