For the first time in more than a decade, there is a new decade symbol picture A movie in theaters and a new movie James Cameron Movie in theaters to boot. Avatar: Water Road It continues the story of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) a few years after the first film, now as parents of a family of their own. Several Pandoranian shenanigans ensue.
So it was water way Worth all the wait (out of the water)? The first reviews of the film on social media arrived online tonight, hours after the film's press release, and about 10 days before the film's theatrical premiere. On the whole, critics said the film didn't live up to its hype, with all the stunning visuals you'd expect from James Cameron and symbol picture A film he spent nearly a decade writing, shooting and producing. They also praised the 3D and the characters (although some of the less positive tweets were less encouraging to say in that department).
