Lil' KidA mother has revealed the official cause of her son's death - while calling on naysayers to harm their families with rumors that suggest otherwise.
Michelle Woods confirmed this in a statement she posted on Instagram on Wednesday (December 14). Lil' Kid died Of natural causes, and no drugs or alcohol in his system.
“Seven months after learning of my son's death, I received the official cause of death from the doctors. In mourning the death of my son, the rest of the family and I felt so much anguish because of the lies and rumors that were spread on blogs and the Internet with false information about his recumbent death,” Woods wrote. “Today, we confirmed the death of Abdul Raqiq from natural causes with no drugs or alcohol in his system.
She continued, "I am still grieving and continue to mourn what our family has gone through in the past seven months and I refuse to let the lies go any further." I'm glad the truth is finally out and I ask everyone to respect his family and his legacy. Long live Kid."
