"I'm back shooting the Curb!" Lewis tweeted on Monday. “I'm a lucky cat to be with my older friend who happens to be a genius. Don't tell him I called him or he'll laugh at me to my grave.” Lewis added.

Lewis, who plays an elevated version of himself on David's long-running series, only appeared in one episode of the comedy's eleventh season before exiting the show due to health reasons. After recovering from numerous back and shoulder surgeries, Lewis says he's ready to mix it up with his friend for more self-flagellation and seriously embarrassing scenarios. While Lewis did not reveal how many episodes he will appear in, Curb your enthusiasm Season 12 looks better than ever with Frick to David's Frack returning for more shenanigans.

According to the Chicago TribuneLewis broke his shoulder when he slipped as he got out of the pool. He was recovering from back surgery at the time of the accident, which exacerbated his injuries and made recovery more complicated. On the plus side, Lewis' wife introduced him to the magical world of Japanese toilets while he was recovering.
"When she saw how much you have to drag to get in and out of bed when you can't use your arm, she bought me this Japanese toilet," Lewis excitedly explained in 2020. “When you go into the bathroom, it opens automatically. I call her Sal.” I hear you, sir. Lewis! Both of my toilets are equipped with toilets, and once you experience the magic, there is no going back. A bidet is the way to go as I like to say.
