I am so grateful to Drax. And you love it. But there is relief [that it’s over]. It wasn't all fun. It was difficult to play this role. The makeup process was hitting me. And I don't know if I want Drax to be my legacy — it's a silly performance, and I want to do more dramatic stuff.
Going on to become one of the biggest names in WWE, Drax was Bautista's breakthrough movie role, showing his versatility as not only an action hero but a deadpan comedic presence. But all this artificial makeup has to be Is that true It sucks to deal with, and Bautista, 53, has also spoken in the past about how much work it goes into maintaining a superstar physique at his age, too.
Whether Bautista wants Drax to be his legacy or not, it will likely be one of the roles he remembers. But he has already shown that he can do other things.
