We're just a few weeks away from getting the chance to see a new horror movie from the director Ryohei KitamuraBecause Lionsgate is going to give Kitamura The price we pay A digital and VOD release is on January 10thten, as well as a limited theatrical release on Jan 13thThe tenth. With those dates fast approaching, Lionsgate has unveiled a trailer for the movie, which you can check out in the embed above.

Lionsgate has now provided the following official synopsis: After a hard stop at a pawnshop, Grace is taken hostage by the robbers. Can Grace muster the courage to escape the painful fates that befall her fellow criminals?

Also in the cast is Jesse Kinser (The dead of the night), Sabina Mach (pregnant and alone), Tanner Zagarino (Nightmare Boy Billiards), Eleanor Burke (remember me), Christopher Robito Harvey (Algorithm: BLISS), the legendary Vernon Wells (The way of the warrior), Erica Irwin (American Horror Story), a 6'8' actress/model/fitness instructor who also goes by the professional name Amazon Eve, and Tyler Sanders (Escape from my stalker), who sadly passed away a few months ago at the age of 18.

Andre Reles of VMI Worldwide, Todd Lundbohm of 828 Media Capital, Robert Dean of Buffalo 8 and Bill Kellman produced The price we pay. Lundbaum said they "can't wait to freak out and share this movie with audiences everywhere." Screenplay written by Christopher Jolly (Burley Rectory Ghosts).

Kitamura's previous directing credits include Versus, Aragami, Azumi, Godzilla: Final Wars, The Midnight Meat Train, Nobody Lives, Downrangeand part of the anthology Nightmare cinema.
