The makers of M3GAN believe their AI doll can easily defeat Chucky, so teaming up with Annabelle would be more interesting.

During the run-up to the release of the sci-fi horror movie M3GAN, the official Twitter accounts for both M3GAN and killer doll Chucky would be exchanging barbs with each other — which makes sense, given that M3GAN and Chucky were both created at Universal. But they don't look like makeovers M3GAN Will have a lot of interest in these twitter interactions that lead to a m3gan vs. Chucky A movie...in fact, the producers would be more interested in seeing a team-up between M3GAN and the evil doll Annabelle!
talk with Syfy WireProducer Jason Blum, director Gerard Johnston and star Allison Williams said M3GAN will defeat Chucky in a fight. Bloom said, “There's no doubt that M3GAN will definitely win. She's a lot smarter than Chucky.” Johnston said, "I have to say M3GAN (will win), of course, but for the viewers, we have to make sure it's not a snap decision. M3GAN will keep it alive long enough to make a point." Williams said, "M3GAN's got this. It feels very simple to me. M3GAN can do all the research on Chucky's weaknesses in a split second and figure it out. They have a lot of resources. It's not a fair fight."
he redditM3GAN's account said M3GAN could defeat both Annabelle and Chucky: "Annabelle never moves so I really won't have to lift a finger against her and Chucky is too old so I'll go straight for the pacemaker." Johnston and Blum were less certain about the outcome of M3GAN vs. Annabelle fight when you talk to Entertainment Weekly. Johnston said, "Well, I think Annabelle is a demon, maybe she'll win. Maybe we should make a movie and find out!" Bloom said, "It's tough, because Annabelle has magical powers, that's a tough one. I don't know about that. But if it's Chucky M3GAN wins."
But it was during an interview with Cinepop That Bloom and fellow producer James Wan (who also happens to be producer Annabel privilege) stumbled upon the idea of M3GAN and Annabelle collaborating:
Blum: Fighting Annabelle and M3GAN would be great.
Wan: Maybe we talked about fighting each other, maybe the puppets could come together, like the Avengers.
Bloom: That's what I love. They are fighting a great evil. Great human evil.
The roadblock in the way of creating M3GAN and the Annabelle crossover is just that Annabel The franchise is set at New Line Cinema. In fact, it ended up making Wan M3GAN at Universal because New Line Cinema turned down the project, feeling the evil puppet needs had already been covered before Annabel a series.
