The worst movies of 2022

Time flies at the cinema - The Good Movies. In a shoddy film, time seems to stand still, expanding in defiance of the laws of nature. (Sometimes, when I close my eyes at night, I go back to watching The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure. I don't know why or how. But it's true.) As the old saying goes: no great movie is too long. There is no bad movie too short.

This certainly applies to the films in the list below. I have already arranged The best movies of 2022So here's the other side of that coin: the worst movies of the year. The 10 gifs below felt impossibly long. In the event of my pick for the single worst movie of 2022, I'd have to split the darn thing into three separate showings. (Ah, the wonders of streaming movies.) It's not perfect, but the truth is, I would never have made it to the end. It's a cinematic endurance test like few others.
