Taylor Swift He was the first winner in 2022 MTV EMS, held at PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, Germany, on Sunday (November 13). Swift took four Awards - Best Artist, Best Video, Best Pop, and Best Long Video for "All Too Well (10 min version) (Taylor version)."

This is Swift's second win for Best Video. She won three years ago for "ME!" In association with Brendon Urie.

Nicki MinajAnd the David Guetta And the Seventeen They each won two awards. Minaj won Best Original Song for "Super Freaky Girl" and Best Hip Hop Music. Guetta won Best Collaboration for "I'm Good (Blue)" in collaboration with Rexha baby, the best letter. SEVENTEEN won Best and Best New Batch.

Harry Stiles, which was this year's top nominee with seven nominations, won only one award - Best Live Broadcast. This category was reintroduced after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

Rita Ora Taika Waititi co-hosted the show, which featured performances by many of the night's winners - Guetta and Rexa, Think (best rock music) and gorillas (best alternatives).

OneRepublic sang "I'm Not Worry" from the blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick, after a video introduction to movie star Tom Cruise. The show also featured performances by Ava Max. Stormzy featuring Debbie; generation. Lewis Capaldi; Tate McCray; SPINALL, Ayanna, and Nasty C; Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra, and Thundercat (who performed with Gorillaz).

There were two new categories this year - Best Long Video (which went to Swift) and Best Metaverse Performance (which went to BLACKPINK).

Co-host Ora received a special award, Best "Personal Style" appearance.

This year's MTV EMA Generation Change Award was awarded to three Ukrainian women - Lena Deshvar, Anna Kotova and Anfisa Yankovina - for their struggle for the care and rights of those affected by the humanitarian crisis in that country. MTV Entertainment Group selects the honorees in partnership with Choose Love, a non-profit humanitarian organization that provides assistance and support to refugees around the world. This award was launched in 2018. The winners were honored during the MTV EMA red carpet show.

Also featured on the show were Lauren Spencer Smith, David Hasselhoff, Julian Lennon, and Sam Ryder, among others.

The MTV EMAs aired in November. 13 on MTV Worldwide in over 170 countries, on Pluto TV in select regions across the US, Latin America and Europe, and on Comedy Central in Germany. It will be available on Paramount+ and Pluto TV globally, starting in November. 14.

This year marks the sixth time for the fair in Germany. Bruce Gilmer and Richard Godfrey were executive producers. Debbie Phillips and Chloe Mason were producers.
