Ski Developer Full Circle just dropped another episode of their developer diary series that launched in July. This newer video mostly focuses on SkiIts gameplay and setting is called "San Van Amsterdam".

According to the various developers in the video, they will be "re-analyzing" and rebuilding the foundation of the game, complete with "new technology" to make it look different than any other previous entry while still "[feeling] Such as Ski. This includes improving all areas, even tricks, with things like tipped tricks, grinds, returns, and more, all of which update in some way. For example, players can now lean and move while grinding to change how they grind without having to leave the rail.
The developers also talked more about what fans can expect when they get off their skateboard. While the group didn't go into full detail, they note that they are now focusing on how to create more fun opportunities when players aren't skating in a way that enhances onboard play. This means that players can climb as if they were in the Doctrine killer In order to reach new heights. The team also talked about how they've improved so much on motion capture that allows for more "style" in the game.
As for St. van Amsterdam, a new downtown environment is being built within the city, which Full Circle noted is an "evolving environment" rather than a static city. Their hope is to keep the city growing over time and include plenty of verticality in the world so that players are always discovering new tricks and places. The group also teased the idea of including "unique neighbourhoods," each carrying a special meaning to the history of skateboarding.
