On Saturday (December 17) a woman injured in a stampede outside a London party venue has died, police said.
London resident Rebecca Icomelo, 33, was one of eight people taken to hospital after being admitted to hospital. They fell into chaos out O2 Brixton Academy Thursday evening where the nigerian singer Asaka was scheduled to perform.
The Metropolitan Police said she died on Saturday morning. Two women, ages 21 and 23, remain in critical condition.

Asaki said he was "overwhelmed" by Icomelo's death.
“My sincerest condolences to her loved ones at this time. Let's put her family in our prayers please. I have spoken to them and will continue to do so.” Instagram.
The police force said emergency services were called after a "large crowd attempted to enter without tickets" and found people with crushing injuries.
It urged people who have photos or videos of the site to provide them to help the police investigation.
Mayor of London Sadiq Khan said he was "saddened" by Icomelo's death.
"Rebecca had her whole life ahead of her and on behalf of all Londoners I want to offer my condolences to her family, friends and loved ones at this very difficult time," he said.
“My thoughts remain with everyone affected by this horrific incident. It is imperative that the investigation into what happened concludes as quickly as possible.”
Brixton Academy in South London is one of the most popular music venues in the city. Built as a movie theater in the 1920s, it has a capacity of just under 5,000.
