New images come courtesy Empire Magazine's latest profile on the moviewhich also stirs up a plot Indiana Jones 5, which will once again see a famous archeology professor take on a group of Nazis. The photos show both Ford in his role as Indiana Jones, as well as Mads Mikaelson, who will play the villain Fuller, based on the real-life Nazi Werner von Braun, who became a NASA engineer after World War II.

Indiana Jones 5 He will once again lead Harrison Ford as he reprises one of his most iconic roles as the titular explorer. She joins him in the title role of Emmy and Golden Globe winner Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The latest installment will also feature the introduction of other newcomers to the franchise, Antonio Banderas, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook and Shawnette Renee Wilson, who have all been cast in undisclosed roles.

The long-awaited film is directed by Academy Award nominee James Mangold (Logan) from a new screenplay co-written with Jez and John-Henry Butterworth, who collaborated with him Ford vs. Ferrari. Mangold took over as director last year after Steven Spielberg left his directing duties on the film. Despite his exit, he will still be part of the film's production as a producer.

Indiana Jones 5 Produced by Kathleen Kennedy, original franchise director Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel, with John Williams returning to score the film, continuing the musical journey that began 40 years ago with Raiders of the Lost Ark.

It is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 30, 2023.
