This is a delicious treat for coffee and dessert lovers, and the recipe makes additional meals to share with friends. The ingredients are easy to find at local grocery stores, and it's quick and easy to make at home and on the road. For instant coffee we used Cascadia Coffee Roasters but people can use their favorite brand. There are many home industry brands making instant coffee these days or there are also mainstays like Folgers Crystals or Starbucks Via.
On the trail, the mixture must be shaken vigorously for about two minutes until it thickens and that's it. Dessert can be ready even before dinner is over. We sprinkled cocoa powder on top for the purpose of the pictures, but it was already mixed as per the recipe.
