Incubus Fill-In Bassist named Ben Kenny recovering from a medical procedure


Those catch Incubation On their next shows you will notice a change in the band's lineup, one that they reveal in a new post. Ben Kennythe band's regular guitarist, would take some time off to recover from a recent medical procedure, but the group found a talented guy to take over his duties for their next shows.

In a statement posted on their social media, the band revealed:

To our beloved fans in Costa Rica, Texas and Louisiana:

Incubus' brother and bandmate, Ben Kenney, is currently recovering from a recent medical procedure and will not be able to perform with us on the upcoming tour at the end of the month. In his absence, our dear friend, Tall Wilkenfeld, will be assisting him on bass and we look forward to performing with her at these shows!

We wish Ben a speedy recovery and can't wait for him to join us on stage soon!

Wilkenfeld is an Australian songwriter, guitarist and guitarist whose resume includes stints playing alongside Jeff BeckAnd Eric ClaptonAnd PrinceAnd Mick Jagger and Herbie Hancock among others. While with Beck, she appeared on 2010 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary Concerts. She also released two solo albums in 2007 transformation and 2019 love remains.

Incubus is set to perform in January. 28 at the Picnic Festival in Costa Rica before returning to the US for dates in Corpus Christi, San Antonio and Houston, Texas as well as February 4th. 4 shows at the Fillmore in New Orleans. The band is then scheduled for an extended touring break, with their next scheduled stop in May. Make sure to get Incubus tickets here.
