Donegan says he believes in free speech. "If I don't like (the song), I don't have to listen to it," he says. "Everyone is hurt and insulted, it's not mine... I think it's okay to have a difference of opinion, enough tantrums."
Disturbed's latest album says, my disagreement - Coming Out Today (November 18) - Addresses this divide in society. "(The album) is like a wake-up call (for people) to stop focusing on the things we disagree on and separate us, and maybe try to find that common ground again." David Draiman echoed Donegan's words, Stating that "Our society has become addicted to anger... Music is the best medicine for what ails us."
Donegan delves into cancellation culture in the interview and shares his excitement about the new record and what die-hard fans can expect from it.
