Intrepid's Real Food Adventures returns for 2022 with vegan experiments


Intrepid's Real Food Adventures are back...with a twist. For the first time ever, all of our food travels will now feature at least one absolutely delicious vegan experience. Thirsty for more? This is what we offer in 2022.

We first launched our real food adventures in 2013, with trips to Mexico, India, Vietnam, Spain and Turkey. It was so delicious (and popular) that we added more. Now, we're excited to say that food flights are back in 2022, bigger and tastier than ever.

We've got 21 food adventures revamped and relaunched this year, all designed with one thing in mind: to help travelers experience the best local food on the planet. And for the first time ever, all Intrepid Real Food Adventures will feature at least one vegan experience, so you can eat well and reduce your footprint at the same time.

Here's what's on the menu for 2022.

Fresh Foodie Trails

We've added an extra flavor to every real food adventure this year. Our most popular food tours are all back - like Sri Lanka, Japan, Mexico and Vietnam - but each one includes more meals, pubs, breakfasts and local secrets than ever before. If you don't know where to start, we've rounded up all of our real food adventures for you over here.

Why plant experiments?

First, because it's delicious (and for good reason). Naturally, we decided that every real food adventure should include at least one vegan experience (preferably more than one, depending on your appetite), making it easy to experience a world of local fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and seeds. Nuts and legumes.
